Our hospital performs a variety of sterilization and soft tissue surgeries that include:
If your pet is requiring a procedure not listed above, please reach out to the hospital as we may be able to accommodate your pet.
As with all surgeries, pets can experience pain. Our goal is to provide pain control before, during, and after their procedure. This will enhance their comfort and healing process.
We understand that surgeries can be stressful for the pet owners. Anesthesia is a common procedure where we take precautions to ensure the surgery and anesthesia will go as smoothly as possible. We offer pre-anesthetic bloodwork, and ECGs that are sent for cardiologist review pre-operatively. This allows us to adjust our anesthetic protocol to better fit your pet’s needs.
During the surgery, your pet will be monitored by a registered or trained veterinary technician who will evaluate the vital signs including blood pressure, heart rate and rhythm, oxygen saturation, carbon dioxide levels, and temperature. Intravenous fluids are provided to our patients and monitored throughout the procedure. Medications may be given throughout surgery as needed to ensure the best possible outcome for your pet. Post-operative monitoring is just as important and is continued by the team during the recovery.
