Emergencies can happen at any time, and it can be very stressful for you and your pet. Our goal is to assist you in handling the emergency in any way we can. We will triage and stabilize your pet, which may include emergency surgeries such as C-sections, abdominal exploratory surgery, or complications from being hit by a car.

This may include sedated procedures such as quill removal, minor wound repair, and non-surgical case management. In the event that your pet requires advanced diagnostics such as MRIs, CAT scans, ICU treatment, advanced surgical management, or board-certified specialists, we will guide you to the best referral centre available. This service is currently available only during office hours. After hours, you are asked to contact SmartVet, a veterinary telemedicine service, or the Huronia Veterinary Emergency Hospital (view map) in Barrie if immediate assistance is required.
